Cat-astrophic Costs:
What’s the Price Tag on Your Feline Friend?

This project aimed to design an engaging infographic as part of our graphic design program, highlighting the financial aspects of cat ownership. The goal was to transform complex statistics into a visually appealing 11x17 poster that effectively communicates key information to a broad audience.

The primary challenge of this infographic project was to convert a limited amount of information into a visually engaging 11x17 poster. While the process unfolded smoothly, it demanded careful thought to present the statistics in a way that avoided a sparse design. By conducting extensive research on effective infographic techniques, I developed strategies for clearly conveying information, which ultimately inspired me to think creatively and analyze the data from new perspectives.

I was extremely pleased with the final outcome of this project and take pride in how it turned out. The visual hierarchy and design elements are well balanced, making the information easy to digest and visually appealing. The client expressed great satisfaction with the finished product, particularly appreciating the graphical elements and the fresh perspective I brought to the assignment. Moving forward, I would explore alternative approaches to further expand my creative process and discover new ways to present similar projects.
